SRAM & MRAM Group Holds High-Level Meeting with Andhra Pradesh Leadership on $25 Billion Tech & Education Investment

SRAM & MRAM Group UK convened a high-level meeting with the Honorable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu, and senior state leadership in Amaravati on January 2, 2025, to discuss two transformative projects—the SRAM India Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (SISMC) and the SRAM Global Technology University. Together, these ventures represent an investment of nearly $25 billion and are aimed at strengthening India’s semiconductor ecosystem while creating world-class education infrastructure in the state.
The meeting was attended by the Honorable Health Minister, Honorable Finance Minister Shri P. Keshav, MLA Smt. V. Prasanthi Reddy, MP Shri V. Prabhakar Reddy, and top executives from SRAM & MRAM Group UK. The discussions reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to fostering cutting-edge industries and advanced technical education in line with the group’s vision for semiconductor self-reliance and innovation.
These ambitious projects are expected to generate thousands of skilled jobs, drive large-scale research and innovation, and establish Amaravati as a global hub for advanced manufacturing and education. A spokesperson from the group noted that this initiative goes beyond investment, describing it as “a vision to build the foundation for India’s leadership in semiconductors and next-generation education.
